Business is a hard gig. Entrepreneurship is even harder. Only a strongly aligned and committed team can achieve success in these fields.

Disciplined execution is what separates those who make it and those who do not and at the start qualitative research and understanding (rather than quantitive) is what matters.

Firstly, a commitment to understanding your customers is mandatory and intentional and deliberate focus user-centered design will help get you closer to that faster.

Building better product experiences for customers, comes second.

Continuous iteration (repetition of learn/build) must be repeated, with any additions and subtractions to product as necessary with a ruthlessly high standard. A focus on validating (and invalidating) the biggest assumptions and trialling large variations rather than micro-optimisations.

Only once demand outstrips your ability to deliver are you allowed to think about scaling. This is Product/Market fit.

These are demanding activities – emotionally exhausting, time-intensive and require skill, judgement and patience to do well.

You simply cannot begin to think about doing this without a technical co-founder, and in all likelihood you will have to learn how to be that yourself.
